Here is my ongoing quest to produce a kind of on-line journal.that deals with things that interest me. Call it an indulgence if you wish, I like to think of it as an expression of ideas that could be useful or perhaps provoking.

Art and design, including both fine art and commercial art, architecture, media ethics and esthetics are subjects that have always fascinated me. I am continuously posting my artwork and photography on this site. And I welcome your questions and comments.

And aren't we all caught up in the current political events of the day especially since the arrival of Barack Obama? We may indeed be at a pivotal point in history. But instead of just going along for the ride we aught to be discussing just exactly where we want this planet to go. Do we attempt to steer the world toward some sort of utopian paradise - or do we meekly yield to the apparent inevitability of it all and spiral to an ugly and terrible doom? We do know that the outcome really is in our hands. If only we can accept the challenge, indeed the responsibility. I welcome your thoughts on these big philosophical issues.
